Exploring In The East

​On the first Tuesday of February, a team from Search for Truth Enterprises, owners of The God Question series made a presentation to over 100 members and associates of the Kirkcaldy Presbytery of the Church of Scotland. There was very widespread interest in the series and many churches in the presbytery are making plans to organise six part sessions in which to explore The God Question.

The evening, held in St Bryce Kirk, was promoted by Rev Gillian Paterson of Methil who said “Ever since learning about this series at a meeting held by the Moderator of the Church of Scotland, I wanted to bring this important resource to the Kirkcaldy Presbytery.”

Professor John Spence, Chairman of Search for Truth Charitable Trust and its enterprise company said “We are absolutely delighted to see how this significant series is spreading across the country and indeed across the world. There is so much misunderstanding and presentation of false choices in relation to Science & God and we are determined to present a balanced, open and accurate choice to as many people as we can. The broadcast TV series is reaching millions but it is when people seriously engage with the study guides and their content that they really begin to grapple with this huge and important subject.”
